Cinnamon Rolls (Bread Machine)

Ingredients
  • 225 ml milk
  • 1 egg
  • 500 g unbleached bread flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 50 g fine sugar
  • 50 g unsalted butter softened
  • 1 tsp instant dried yeast
Filling:
  • 25 - 30 g cinnamon powder
  • 60 g brown sugar
  • 30 g butter melted
  • 100 g sultanas (optional)
Instructions
  1. Add all ingredients into a bread machine in the order as stated above (liquid first, then dry ingredients)
  2. Select “Dough” setting on your bread machine
  3. After the bread machine has completed its dough cycle, remove from bread machine onto a rolling board
  4. Punch the dough and roll it flat with a rolling pin
  5. Brush all over with the melted butter
  6. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture and sultanas to cover the dough
  7. Gently lift up one side and roll into a long cylinder shape
  8. Cut with a serrated knife into 1 inch thick slices
  9. Arrange slices flat down in a baking tray
  10. Set aside in a warm area to double in size
  11. Brush with melted butter after it has proofed
  12. Bake at 180°C for 20 mins until golden brown
