Corned Beef with Onions and Green Chillies

This easy to cook recipe is great for a quick breakfast sandwich meal or even for a picnic. Goes well with crackers too for your afternoon tea time. This is one of my family’s old time picnic favourite.

Corned Beef with Onions and Green Chillies

  • 1 tin corned beef 340 g
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 green chillies
  • Spring onion for garnishing
  1. Remove corned beef from the tin and lightly break it up with a fork on a plate.
  2. Cut a large onion and slice the green chillies.
  3. Heat up a frying pan with a little cooking oil.
  4. Add cut onions and sliced green chillies and stir fry for a few minutes.
  5. Add in the corned beef and mix everything together until corned beef softens and cooks thoroughly.
  6. Serve with bread or crackers for a quick meal.

Recipe Notes

Makes nice sandwiches to bring along for a picnic.
